1st (0-180) days:
7-24 month:
- Newly born baby needs to feed mother's milk.Behind this,no food can't be given the child.
- Till 6 months baby needs only mother's milk.Even 1 drop of water should not be given to the child.
- Newly delivered mother should eat balanced diet 5 times at a day.
- Everytime,when delivered mother eats,she has to eat 2 fists extra food.
- Delivered mother needs to take at least 1 iron-folic acid and 1 calcium tablet at a day.
7-24 month:
- Fishes,meats,eggs,liver,green and colored vegetables,thick pulse,fruits and baked foods in limited oil,that the child should eat.Everyday,at least 4 kinds of food should be given to the child.
- Fully 6-8 month's baby needs to feed 2-3 tea-spoon food at first and gradually,everyday half plate of food needs to be given,with 1-2 times nutritious breakfast/light meals.
- 9-11 month's baby needs to eat 3 times half plate of food at a day with nutritious light meals by 1-2 times.
- After 12 month's , 1 plate 3 times at a day with 1-2 times nutritious light meals.
- Besides these,feeding of mother's milk will be continued.
